Simple pricing, generous free tier

A free account audits a real site, not a demo: all 82 checks, all 10 categories, exports and fix briefs included. The allowance limits how many audits you run, never what an audit contains.

searches, no signup

single-page audits

What a free account gets

Published in full, because the numbers are the answer to the question. The allowance renews every 30 days, and the clock starts on your first audit rather than on the 1st of the month.

Every 30 days you get

10single-page audits
One URL each, no link following. Enough to cover every page that matters on a small site, or to re-check the same page ten times as you work through its issues.
1full-site crawl
Follows internal links across the whole site, up to 500 pages, and runs the full check suite on every page it reaches. Runs on a domain you have verified, which takes one meta tag on the home page. A re-crawl counts as another run.
100pasted-HTML analyses
Paste source in and audit it with no request to your server at all. This is the one to use for a page behind a login, or a template you have not deployed yet.
500pages per crawl
A larger site is not refused. The crawl audits the first 500 pages it reaches and stops there, so what you get back is a complete report on the part it covered.

Before any signup at all: 5 instant searches from the home page, no account required. Those audit one page each and reset every 24 hours, on a separate counter from everything above.

The crawl runs on a domain you have verified. You add a meta tag we generate to your home page and we check for it once, which is what stops anyone pointing the crawler at a site they do not own. Single-page audits and pasted HTML need no verification.

What the allowance does not limit

Nothing in the product sits behind a plan. Volume is metered, the audit itself is not, so a free account gets the same report a paid one would.

  • All 82 checks, across all 10 categories
  • AI search (GEO) and answer engine (AEO) checks, the same set any paid plan would run
  • Agent-ready fix prompts and markdown briefs for every failing check
  • Tree, table, issues and site views
  • The page inspector, with Core Web Vitals from PageSpeed Insights
  • PDF, CSV and JSON export
  • Crawl history on your dashboard

Why 500 pages here and 2,000 elsewhere

2,000 pages is what the crawler accepts in a single run, which is the figure quoted on the rest of the site. 500is the ceiling on a free account's crawl. It is a number held per account, not a different crawler, so raising it is one setting rather than a different product, and that is what the next section is for.

A bigger site is never refused. The crawl audits the first 500 pages it reaches and stops there, so what comes back is a complete report on the part it covered.

Typical site sizes against the 500-page free crawl cap. Portfolio or personal site: 5 to 30 pages, inside the cap. Small business site: 20 to 100 pages, inside the cap. Blog, a few years of posts: 100 to 500 pages, inside the cap. Ecommerce catalogue: 1,000 to 20,000 or more pages, past the cap.500 pages, the free capPortfolio or personal site5 to 30Small business site20 to 100Blog, a few years of posts100 to 500Ecommerce catalogue1,000 to 20,000+101001k10kpages
Typical page counts by kind of site. These are rough spans meant for orientation, not measured data, and any one site can sit well outside its band.

Need more than the free tier?

Larger crawls, more audits and higher page caps are arranged and priced per site rather than sold as a fixed plan.

PageInspection is built by a small founding team, and self-serve checkout is not live yet. Larger allowances are set per account by hand instead, and what they cost is agreed in the same thread. Tell us what you need to scan and we will come back with the limits and the price.

What to put in the email

  • The site URL you want audited
  • Roughly how many pages it has
  • How often you need to audit it
  • What the standard allowance could not cover

Those four lines are enough to come back with both the limits and the price on the first reply, so nothing needs a second round of questions.

What Pro will include

Pro is not a different product. Everything below runs on a free account today, and a paid plan raises the ceilings rather than unlocking features.

Pricing is not set yet. When it is, existing accounts hear it from us before anything changes. Until then there is no checkout on this page, so extra capacity is quoted and arranged by email.

Questions about the limits

How the window resets, what happens at the edges, and what changes when paid plans arrive.

Every 30 days, and the clock starts on your first audit rather than on the 1st of the month. All three counters reset together at the end of that window: the single-page audits, the site crawl and the pasted-HTML analyses. Your dashboard shows the date the current window ends, so you never have to work it out.

The next request of that kind is refused before anything starts, and it tells you when the allowance comes back. Nothing runs halfway, and a refused request costs you neither an audit nor money. The three counters are independent until the window resets, so spending the site crawl leaves your 10 single-page audits and 100 pasted-HTML analyses untouched. The page cap behaves differently: a crawl that reaches 500 pages stops there rather than failing.

All of them. Nothing in the product is held behind a plan: the same 82 checks across all 10 categories run on a standard allowance and a raised one alike, and the exports, the fix briefs, the page inspector and the crawl history come with them. What an allowance limits is how many audits you run, never what an audit contains.

Yes. You can point single-page audits at as many different sites as you like, and nothing ties the allowance to one domain. Crawls are the exception: a full-site crawl runs only on a domain you have verified, so auditing a client site properly means getting our meta tag onto their home page first. The figure to plan around is the single full-site crawl per window, so the usual approach across several sites is to spend the crawl on the one that matters most and use single-page audits on the rest. If you need to crawl several sites, that is what the email is for.

By email, for now. There is no checkout on the site, so what you need to scan and what it costs are settled in the thread, and the limits are then set on your account by hand. It is not a waiting list, and you find out the price before anything is raised. When checkout does arrive, that email button becomes it.

The allowance on this page is what a free account gets today, and there will still be a free tier when paid plans launch, because the whole point of it is that you can audit a real site before paying anyone. What we will not promise is that these exact numbers never move. If they do, existing accounts hear it from us first, and the work you have already run stays yours.
